Even though I disagree with his economics for the most part (my views are more in line with another candidate-- whom I will do a favor and not name-- who has a long record of supporting Keynesian economics), I just got back from voting for Ron Paul in the GOP presidential primary.
The reason I did is simply because Ron Paul is the only candidate who rejects the idea that the President of the United States has the legal authority to assassinate any or all of the People of the United States, something Attorney General Eric Holder had the balls to defend publicly... On Sept. 23, 1998, a panel of radiation safety experts gathered at a Hilton hotel in Maryland to evaluate a new device that could detect hidden weapons and contraband. The machine, known as the Secure 1000, beamed X-rays at people to see underneath their clothing.

Stop the machines
Sunday a group from Occupy Washington DC and Occupy DC went on a march against NDAA to the White House. We knew we would not be able to be on the side walk in front of the White House so we were told to get to the street. Before we moved to the street police tape was all around us. We have protested many times in the street in front of the White House. But for some reason we were moved completely across the street and taped off. We counted 8 snipers with guns aimed at us and the largest police presence i have seen since October. We had two arrest but they are safe and back at camp.

I'm in Chicago, staying at the apartment of an old comrade, across the table from each other on laptops. He has a hotmail account, I have a GoDaddy webmail account. He says he sent me two emails earlier today, but I can only find one. Can't figure that out, so he re-sends it, but after several minutes, nothing appears. He checks the address, and it's correct. He re-sends a second time, to no avail. Read below the fold...
