Do you live in New Jersey's 6th Congressional District?
HR 676 is currently before the Subcommittee on Health, which is chaired by Frank Pallone. He does not support HR 676, indeed looking at the co-sponsors of HR 676 I don't see anyone from NJ. That indicates the insurance and pharmaceutical industry has a stranglehold in NJ politics. Don't despair, here are some ways to overcome that.
If, and only if you live in his district, contact him. Ideally, get together with 2 or 3 friends and ask for a meeting at his district office. Don't worry if they fob you off on a summer intern, the great thing is a visible support for HR 676.
Write letter to the local community papers in the district. You can be sure his press secretary combs these publications, but just to be sure, send him the link if your letter gets published.
If you are a member of an organization in the district, especially one of the local Democratic Committees or Democratic clubs, pass a resolution and send him a copy of the resolution. Send Conyers a copy of the resolution, and let Pallone know you are doing so.
If, and only if you live in NJ, consider setting up an account at Blue Jersey and blogging about HR 676. Actually, that would be a good idea on any of the state blogs. The only reason there isn't more support for HR 676 is that most people have never heard of it.

500 pixels wide
is the maximum width for posting an image or else it stretches the Mighty Corrente Building into odd shapes.
So I applied a shrink ray to your image.
thank you
I had a feeling, but I did not know how to shrink it.
I wanted a strong visual so that readers could immediately see if they lived in the 6th.
how to fix image width
Inside the img tag, change width= to a number less than 500.
You also need to delete the entire height=XXX part.
This way your image will be resized proportionally.
And actually, I think this way strains the hamsters because the MCB has to do the work of resizing the image every time it is loaded in a browser.
Best way is to size your image to less than 500 wide before you upload it.
Thank you Shystee
Right on all counts, and the resizing won't kill any hamsters, but does make them work harder, so yes, resize in Flickr or wherever.
