Today's single payer post: IL Reps for HR 676

Luis Gutierrez wants to pass HR 676 and impeach Dick Cheney.

Jesse Jackson, Jr. has a long section on health care; but his website is set up in such a way that you can’t link directly to it.

Bobby Rush has an official blog

In addition to supporting HR 676, Janice Schakowsky has been looking into contractor deaths in Iraq and protecting the fourth amendment.

One of the great things about the single payer series

Is finding out what else the HR 676 sponsors are doing.

DCBlue, a request: Can you add the names of the Reps into the tags? They'll get their own pages that way, and that's very, very SEO-friendly. I did it for this post. Thanks....

names

yes, I will start doing that in the future.

PB2.0

I think this series is exactly what PB2.0 should be. It would be nice to have a page dedicated solely to this. Which congress critters support this idea, which candidates do. For lazy folk like me who like all their data in easy to read lists, tables, charts, graphs.

pb2.0?

what is pb2.0?

progressive blogosphere 2.0

sorry. As I was eating peanut butter out of the jar (yes, I was), I can see how easily it would be to not understand ;).

This vital information should not be lost amidst our arguing about who the nominee should be. It's easier to resort to wankery (myself included) when delving into politics. But good policy is just that: good policy. PB2.0 should be able to keep policy and politics as separate as possible, IMO.

peanut butter 2.0

sorry, couldn't resist

I keep hoping that eventually we will have a nominee and things will settle down. The divisions of blogosphere will endure. Blogrolls are going to be changed. that is just the way it is. but after a while people will settle down to post about other things.

If you mean crunchy,

then peanut butter 2.0 is way better than peanut butter 1.0 (creamy). No question about that.

tracking 2008

The 2008 race tracker is a great resource. I have been using it to find challengers who support single payer, but it has a million other uses.
