Trump Therapy 19.1 -- List

Last night, the White House released a list of 78 "terrorist attacks" that (according to Trump) were "not even being reported" by "the dishonest press" who "have their reasons". Trump's original claim referred to terrorism in Europe ("...all across Europe. You've seen what happened in Paris, and Nice. All over Europe, its happening. Its gotten to a point where its not even being reported..."), and Sean Spicer later "amended" Trump's accusation to include "under-reported."

There are, of course, a few problems with the list.

First off, I counted only 29 attacks in Europe (32 if you add attacks in Turkey.)
Second, of the first seven European attacks listed, only one attacker may have not been a citizen of the nation where the attack took place -- and five of them were "native born" Europeans
Yasin {sic} Sahli Born in  Pontarlier (Doubs) France in 1980
Bertrand Nzohabonayo 20-year-old French national originally from Burundi...Muslim convert
Amedy Coulibaly born in 1982 in the Paris suburb of Juvisy-sur-Orge
Moussa Coulibaly 30-year-old, a native of Mantes-la-Jolie (Yvelines), France
Omar Abdel Hamid el-Hussein 22 years old and born in Denmark
Sid Ahmed Ghlam Ghlam was born in Algeria [in 1991] but came to France in 2009 to join up with other members of his family
Nerdin Ibric was born and lived in Kucic Kula, near Zvornik. (Bosnia)

Indeed, of these first seven attackers, I could find no evidence that any of them had ever travelled to one of the seven Muslim ban countries.

Its too bad that this list wasn't released before the deadline for briefs in the Muslim ban case in front of the 9th Circuit Appeals Court. The list proves, pretty conclusively, that the threat to the US "mainland" isn't coming from those seven countries.
