Trump Therapy 6.2 -- Trump to visit our Sanctuary City (then stiff us for the costs?)
So, it turns out that the GOP Congresscritters will be in Philadelphia from Wednesday to Friday for a "retreat." And Donald Trump is coming to speak to them on Thursday.
And Trump is threatening to defund "sanctuary cities" today -- i.e. the same day that the GOP arrives in town -- putting an additional financial burden on Philadelphia to provide protection -- and close off streets in retail areas, hurting local businesses.
So why is the Mayor of Philadelphia allowing them to come to Philadelphia, knowing that the city might be stiffed by Trump? Mayor Kenny should declare some kind of 'state of emergency', demand payment up front for any and all additional costs incurred by the GOP and Trump, and also demanding a $10,000,000,000 bond guarantee to cover any and all losses as a result of civil unrest associated with their presence.
