Steven D is tilting at windmills, bless him. I don't really have coherent thoughts on this right now, but I think it's interesting to watch the fault lines develop, as the blogging/open source political movement grows. Bottom line: just because we're united in our disgust with the authoritarians and Bush, doesn't mean we're all going to get alone, or that our "leaders" are heroes. The Grey One would probably say something along the lines of 'stop trolling blogs by telling them which issues matter most,' and he's got a point in that, but I can't disagree with Steven. There is a sort of omerta developing among those who lunch with Senators, and some in the movement are going to be pissed about that.

Bad Kos...
bad, bad, bad Kos.
Kos is a bad, bad, bad, guy.
So says Steven D. Bad, bad, bad....
Kos is bad.
All men are evil. We know this. This is established dogma. Kos is a man thus he is bad, bad, bad, bad....
Yawn.....
Kos posted some real stupid shit. But...
I really don't think the guy is quite as evil as Steven D. is making out. Of course, that opinion makes me bad, bad, bad....
Yes, I am male and thus I am bad, bad, bad....
I go now to atone.
acitizen, that's beneath you
try again. you have a point to make, so make it. address the issues raised in this post.
kos isn't "bad." you're not, all men aren't. this is a specific issue relating to how men don't grok that women take death threats on the intertubes more seriously than men. if you think that's unwarranted, say why. obviously, perhaps not to you, i am not, nor have i ever, endorsed a "code of blogger speech and ethics." but that isn't the point.
please come back with something more substantitive.
Movement?
What movement?
No authoritarians were tortured in the writing of this post.
First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win. -- Mahatma Gandhi
you don't think this is a movement, lb?
that's interesting. how would you describe the part of the blogosphere concerned with politics? asking honestly here. is there another word you prefer, and do you think our contribution isn't worthy of the term 'movement?'
a lot of people/bloggers i know use this term. what would your propose instead?
