Am I the only one who's a little frustrated by posts and comments that complain about some other unspecified posts or comments somewhere?
You know, like this post?

Yes, but...
... everyone knows exactly what you are writing about here.
Whereas, no one had the slightest clue what set off CD and Lambert.
Throughout the "pie fight" there have been others
Complaints about perceived past wrongs that were never clarified when and where they may have occurred.
Must be that I'm feeling blue
But thanks for getting my back.
Shit. Off to paint.
The granularity is talking point, not post. I though the Ayers talking point was dead -- see the post that almost got us sued -- but it lives on.

Hey, I do have your back on the content
I support the chin-music response to lame-o gotcha talking points (be they anti-Obama, anti-McCain, or anti-anyone else).
But the "I'm mad about something that somebody did somewhere" genre doesn't create the best communication-loop I've ever seen, as I'm sure the linky-goodness police can well appreciate.
Then there was the time whats-his-name
did that other stuff.

I await the investigative report with interest. Seriously.

You know that things are out of control...
..when I'm the guy trying to reconcile two opposing points of view.
Paul...
.... there are times when I don't agree with you at all, but I always know that you are going to come back to evidence and reasoning, not mindlessly repeat (though sometimes I've had to wait a little....)
And now, seriously, off to paint. RL calls. No, screams.

It's a terrible thing
when a happy family can be torn apart by something as simple as wild dogs.

it's not always about you, vast
;-)
but seriously: sometimes posts aren't meant for this community, so much as they are meant for people who are...let's say directed to stop by here and look around briefly, but unlikely to come back.
sorry if i'm disrupting your Ideal Correntian post technique. but hey! it's just a blog, after all. let's don't take it too seriously.
Actually, your post called for PB2.0
to not engage in some behavior engaged in in some other part of the blogosphere but not linked to.
So, yes, it was directed at us.
Go Global!

oh, that one. french doc
i thought he was talking about the other, unspecified, overly personal, irrelevant post of mine. but yeah, i guess i could've written the "no groupthink" post a tad better.
feh, it can't all be gold, yo.
I'm just critiquing what seems to be a nascent genre...
... "stop it!" posts where no one is too sure who and/or what the offenders/offenses were, and if it applies to them.
"Zombie Ayers meme" isn't clear enough?
Perhaps I wrote in haste. Then again, I read almost everything, so my brain is like a furnace filter for this stuff -- and at some point the filters need to be changed.

get out there and Paint!!!
you have no business blogging while walls remain uncoated, slacker.
i'm sorry, vast.
i'm unable to take much of blogging seriously these days; i have only the excuse of a great deal of RL bullshit to offer you and i'm sorry if i'm, well, not exactly 'harshing' on your blogging buzz, but i hope you get my drift.
hopefully my more Serious
efforts of the last few days are more pleasing to you. i'll try to be more adult.
No, not harshing at all
Just some of these posts are a little confounding, leading to more confusion that illumination.
It's good to see your byline here, anytime.
