Valerie Plame is a Lying Stripper-Whore

According to Investor's Business Daily, that is. Where do I sign up for a subscription? Because any publication that writes like this is one I need to have:

Justice: Like the Duke lacrosse players, Scooter Libby faces jail for alleged involvement in a crime that was never committed, pursued by a vindictive prosecutor. And also like the Duke case, it's a national disgrace.

Just as the nation weeps that a bunch of frat boys were accused of raunchy, inappropriate behavior, so too should weep for poor, noble I. Lewis. Tissue, I need some tissue. Sob.

The trial of Libby, the only person charged with anything in the three-year probe of who "leaked" the name of CIA desk jockey Valerie Plame, officially got under way Tuesday. Actually, it might be called the second trial. The first, in the media, already found Libby guilty.
It is perhaps a sign of how much a media pariah Libby has become that "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace felt compelled to ask why, "given his legal troubles," Libby was invited to the Christmas party of his old boss, Vice President Dick Cheney. Please.

Indeed! I always invite lawbreakers and the dishonored to my parties. It makes them more fun that way. And damn that Librul Media, and Wallace too. What a scrooge, how dare he ask about something as meaningless as the appearance of impropriety.

We know, and Fitzgerald knew, Libby didn't "out" Valerie Plame. Columnist Robert Novak, who noted Plame's employment in a July 14, 2003, column, has written: "I learned about Valerie Plame's name from Joe Wilson's entry on Who's Who In America."

Dammit! I really wish IBD wouldn't give the Terrorists the secret code books so easily. Why, flipping through my copy of Who's Who in America, I can see right here not only a complete list of all NOC CIA operatives, but also what's on the menu at the White House next week. I just hope Osama doesn't read English.

Duke lacrosse players still twist in the wind, as does Libby, who stands accused of lying about a crime that never occurred in an investigation that never should have happened. Justice should be blind, not those administering it. That's the real crime in both cases.

Dem po, mistreated, lacrosse players. Dey be tarred and feathered, an now dey be "twisting in da wind." Jes lak da Freedom Riders. Fo shizzle. Thank you, IBD, for reminding me of the horror that is our "just us" system. I can hear the dulcet tones of a Negro Spiritual coming from the open windows of the frat house now.

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
