"Wall Street is our Main Street"

Do read Yves:

Corrupt Obama Administration Pressuring New York Attorney General to Support Mortgage Whitewash

It's an outrage, but not unexpected. This is what they do. As Yves says, it is time to call them what they are - corrupt.

In Izvestia, Kathryn Wylde (the one who said "Wall Street is our Main Street, love ’em or hate ’em. They are important and we have to make sure we are doing everything we can to support them unless they are doing something indefensible.”) is described as " a member of the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York who represents the public". Hmm. I think I know who represents the public, and lady, it ain't you.

Eric Schneiderman is a true liberal hero with an established record. (He was my State Senator before he left to run for Attorney General.) You might want to drop him a line and let him know that you appreciate his efforts, particularly if you live in New York State. But these efforts - to continue the investigation of the bankster fraud - are for all of the people, not only the people of this state.

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
