Bush was sitting around, shooting the shit the way he is wont to do, when he shared his opinion of how the war is going with Australia's Deputy Prime Minister Mark Vaile:

"We're kicking ass," Bush said to Vaile Tuesday, according to the Herald, after the deputy prime minister inquired about his trip to Iraq.

On Thursday, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino would not confirm or deny the reported comment.

I cannot walk for the soldier pictured above, but I do surely wonder: does the President know that he built a world of sorrow and pain out of nothing more than lies and cowardice? And does he also know that the God who would forgive him for his crimes against humanity is the devil in disguise?
