The pictures tell the story:

Note full compost bin in "After"! (Too much green stuff, I know. I'm going to have to move some to another bin and add more brown stuff, plus some starter).
Now, out to do more!

So satisfying
Clearing weeds from garden is just so satisfying.
It's better than therapy.
In fact, it IS therapy for me.
My compost pile received a real boost since I got some chickens. I add their poop along with the sawdust litter to the compost pile. I should have some aged compost ready to work into the soil for my winter garden. Here in N Calif, we plant winter crops in early fall and adding this compost will be a real soil saver. I'll bet my cabbages will be twice the size of last winter's.
Did someone say "chickens"?
Any chance we might be able to hear more about them -- and maybe see pictures of one or two? No pressure, just a thought ....
We're all proud of you, Lambert!
(I can see you now - instituting your own weekly "Kill List" meetings. I'd hate to be a weed near your house!)
Ouch!
My own fault for allowing an environment they could flourish in. I should have mulched those areas before I left. Can you believe it, that growth only took a month!
Yes! I'll send Chicken pics and a good story.
Glad to send you some chicken pictures.
I have a lovely flock and a special hen house made for them.
Awesome, thanks, insanely!
