Baseline Scenario is great, and everybody should read it. That said, the effort to get "looting" to go mainstream started a long time ago and took a great deal of work.

Note that I'm not whining about academic priority, here; I couldn't care less about that, or going on the teebee.

What I am saying is that a zeitgeist takes a long time to create, and is the end product of the labor of many hands. Eh?

Now, can we go to work on kleptocracy?
