On the other hand, the Departments of Energy and Homeland Security are most likely about to Classify everything Johnathan Goodwin's ever built, because these cars would also probably end the War on Terra.

No one could do the interview better.
My opinion; ethanol is dumb and energy inefficient, hydrogen is a dangerous hoax (can you spell Hindenberg?) and LNG is no better than oil. The future is biodiesel/battery hybrid with oil from algae and recycled fry oil waste stream, leave the cropland for food production. The major challenge is the batteries, short cycle life but that will get better. We could have every vehicle in America rolled over to biodiesel in ten years, getting 100 MPG or better, with existing infrastructure other than the algae ponds. With nuclear to replace most hydro dams and all fossil fuel electric plants, we could be almost oil free and carbon neutral in 20 years.
