The Taleban (troll prophylactic: the Taleban is NOT GOOD) had made heavy inroads into poppy production in Afghanistan — indeed, receiving millions from the Bush administration as a reward for cutting opium production in the spring of 2001.
Bush’s government is now looking into supporting a coup against the government of Myanmar (Burma), where the production of opium has fallen drastically.
IS this more than coincidence?
Coca is grown in South America (Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela.)
Opium poppies are grown in Southeast Asia (Laos, Burma, Afghanistan.)

The US government is trying to stop citizens from trafficking in cocaine, heroin, marijuana: all organic sources of potentially trillions of dollars.

It’s like dejavu all over again. Instead of flooding the inner cities with crack this time it’s heroin, Ritalin, prozac, etc. not just the inner cities but suburbia. They destroyed the black community in the eighties and nineties in order to fund the war in the middle east. I’ve lived through the crack wars, the war on drugs, whatever you want to call it. I’ve seen the CIA agents in the “hood” selling and dealing. It’s about Oil and world dominion. The drugs are just a funding source and means of population control. I think it’s tim every body dust off their Gary Webb and see if they can connect the dots. Second verse same as the first, a little bit louder and a whole lot worse.

Afghanistan mess and tribal leaders and letting the country go to hell is for the $$$ and opium trade.
Iraq mess and civil war, and not rebuilding the infrastructure is about waiting until the oil is securely in the hands of “good guy” companies and whatever ethnic cleansing needs to take place to make sure US is never locked out.
Another leg of the CIA messing with countries is the USAID / election / “democracy” piece of the puzzle. They have been influencing and overturning elections for decades now, they even imported it to FL and OH. And why do you think everyone is so eager to bring elections to the middle east. I mean look at Palestine elections, and they hate that kind of real democracy. You know, rule by the people’s will.
