Honey, I've changed!
That's a brilliant post, Sarah. I read it over at World 'o' Meth, and I commend you for linking to its original habitat:
Honey, I'm gonna get you that pony I've always promised you. This time. I swear.

oh, that was so funny! love this first link on "change"
fuck yeah, this needs to get around more. i want change too- how about the 5000000000 nickles or so of my share of the taxmoney spent on iraq this month? i'll take quarters if nickles are a problem.
guffaw.
and for you very lazy people, here's the whole thing
but you've got to go over there for the many, many humorous hyperlinks she's embedded. please do, it's worth it when you have the time:
heh.
I'd forgotten that video, CD
Of course, today, the answer is "up the volume."

oh, but honey...! I've gotten past all of that now!
...why, you might say I've TRANSCENDED it...

Cole no likey Obama. :)
anna, we need to invite JC to guest post here.
he's my fav righty blogger.
"transcend" is a religious word, or rather, it has a very powerful meaning to those who are religious. like "change" is powerful to those who think a "black man" will bring about unity and ponies automatically b/c of his race, transcend is a dogwhistle for the religious, and brings with it a sense of the 'divine' (and thus good) as well as "deep, meaningful change."
thanks for that link, grrl.
CD, brilliant
I just did...

CD--I kinda figured...
...y'all'd be fond of that post. glad you liked it, and glad that Lambert's extending an invite to Cole.
it does my heart good to think that even authentic wingnuts are capable of meaningful change. now if he'd only lose the Jammies Media thing on his page...
no, anna- leave the jammy badge up on his site
it's a painful, obvious reminder that "one of their own" has left the building of idiocy and entered the Free Land of Critical Thought. although, to be honest, i think JC always lived there and just got taken by all the inital PJM hype (and possibly $, not that i blame him).
