Alec Baldwin provides a veritable "what's wrong with this picture" in his latest at HuffPo.
How many asinine observations can you spot?

So much to choose from...
He could try the Writing 101 course at the local community college.
I do find the idea that white men are absolved of guilt with a vote for obama... um, charming.
too many are saying he'll absolve us of racism and history--
it's beyond absurd, and actually hurts minorities who need govt help and opportunity.
Why the fuck is everybody so desperate for absolution?
Forgive the fowl language.
Sad how someone I enjoy so much as an actor
can be so deluded that he thinks the world waits eagerly for his wisdom. What a dolt. Counting the stupid in this column would require I use time I could more profitably be using reading up on Madonna's upcoming divorce.
Get Smart Line
Get Smart was playing at the theater for a dollar so I watched it. When the bad guy was asked if he would miss the Hollywood actors he dryly responded that, yes, he would miss their sharp political observations.
They are free to make their voices heard, but I'm not moved either way by them generally.
Actors blogging
When I used to read the HuffPost, I was surprised at the number of actors who started posting, like, "Look at me, I'm a writer now!" Most of them were pretty dull. I like Alec Baldwin but I think he should stick to (comic) acting.
Or he could stick to verbally abusing his daughter
and show us more dysfunction.
Huffington supports writers who proclaim "Kill the Bitch" and "down with the ignorant Palin.
Oh the humanity of the new Progressive message.
At least...
...he brought up my city, but even there he's wrong. We're about as blue as they come.
Really, I'm not sure where to begin. Not just asinine observations, but overall bad writing. Really, whatever, Alec.
They are only for absolution...
...when it is easy, no-strings-attached absolution. I find this particularly the case in my generation (Millenial) and the one just before it. As long as their is no follow-up, we're fine with doing good deeds. In this case, all that one must do is pull a lever for the total eradication of institutionalized racism. What could possibly be easier than that? Poor, poor fools.
yup--young kids & the wealthier--
all who don't need the govt to be a practical tool that exists to directly do things for us.
I was kind of OK with most of it until he got to the absolution.
I fear that is the main reason why voters support Obama, a post racial society with no guilt. Are they nuts?! This election is not about color, it's about ability.
I love this job!
I love this job!
most don't need anything from govt, so abstractions
and symbols are fine with them.
that's certainly the case for the rich like Baldwin--and for many college kids too.
