SECRETARY RICE: The problem is that if you try and make consequences about these benchmarks, you're tying the hands of General Petreaus and the hands of Ambassador Crocker. We shouldn't tie our own hands in using the tools that we have to help the Iraqis along with national reconciliation.
So, what's wrong with tying their hands? And what's wrong with tying Condi's hands? And Cheney's? And Bush's?
Hey, why stop with their hands?
A little discipline never hurt anyone, especially an authoritarian, and you know they want it.
Besides, the image of Condi straining against the straps to, er, play the piano... [Oops! Sorry..]
NOTE What's a good safe word for Condi? My thought was "The Clenis

Unhand them.
As the melodrama heroines used to say "Unhand" me - and I think rather than a simple hitch, that would be the appropriate way to keep the cabal from doing any further harm.
It's particularly ridiculous that they're fighting against the very 'benchmarks' that they declared so vital when they instituted the deadly surge in February.
However, I hear "Clenis" used wrt Big Dog pretty often, think it would be confusing. The word that Condi brings to mind is demeaning to women and I don't use it, tho.

Hey hands off the Clenis!!
I mean it now.
Tools
Tools has become a "tell" word every time Those People open their mouths. We must make sure our military has the tools they need. It is important that our Justice [gag] system has the tools to protect the Murcan people. Our intelligence agencies....Our President....alllll gotta have those "tools." And oh, Democratic Congress, you don't want to be taking those "tools" away from this president do you, because then they won't be there for your next president (if we ever let you have one again ha ha.)(dangle, dangle)
It is, so far as I can tell, invariable: if they call it a "tool" it's illegal, avoids Constitionally (and sensibly) required checks and balances, it probably causes pain if not death, and none of Those People would last 30 minutes if any of the "tools" in question were applied to them.
And we've gotten through 230 years as a nation being proud of the fact that we don't use those "tools" because those are the province of those we oppose and think of as evil tyrants.
Tools would be a good word for the nasty and vulgar subject of this thread too. Although I decline to name names as I'm really tired of talking about these people's kinks. What they do with their clothes on is the part I care about stopping anyway.
