From where you are!

One very basic thing to do, I feel, is to remove yourself from as many broken systems as possible. The teebee is broken, so don't watch it. The banks are broken, so switch your money to a credit union. The legacy parties are broken, so don't give them your attention or your money. Intellectual property is broken, so start making your own music and art. The food chain is broken, so eat less, eat better, and grow your own. The financial system is broken, so don't go into debt, barter where you can, stay off the books, devise alternative lending institutions, and so on. The transport system is broken, so if you have a car, and must drive, work out a way to share it with others. And above all, learn to be happy. Corporations hate that, because they can't make money off it.

No, none of this ends the empire or the police state or any of that. But tiny incremental changes add up. It's like armadillos moving north 5 to 8 miles a year. Or rhizomes taking over a garden.
