No agenda but curiousity. After the FKD's decision at the Rules and Bylaws Committee, Ickes seems to have dropped off the face of the earth; I even subscribed to a Google news feed for him, but nothing. Odd little data point.

pretty sure
he's busy w/ Catalist and expanding into internet micro-targeting.
Wonkette posted about Ickes in Feb, using intro amazingly like
yours -- but with a quite different conclusion about the primary. Just interesting.
BTW, he's close to 70, if not 70 already. Just noticed he was born in 1939.
That's one nasty little interview
Yeck.

Ickes
He's probably in a similar mood as myself and several other *former* Dem activists that I know. I used to be at every event and donate to candidates up and down the ballot. I used to go to every meeting and interacted regularly with leaderships of various Dem orgs. Not so much anymore. Same with several others I know.
When you have no more faith (hope) in the Dem Party, its easier to focus on your other hobbies. My activism is much lower and targeted than before.

Yep, they got what they wanted
They threw us out of the party. Yay!
