Will Pat Buchanan disavow his spiritual leader?
The Pope formerly known as Ratzinger, who as head of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith was charged with the full responsibility for dealing with pedophilia by the clergy and by his deliberate refusal to take the allegations seriously, repeatedly “forgiving” and transferring pedophile priests, and ordering a systematic cover-up by threatening both priests and victims with excommunication if they talked to authorities, was for more than 20 years the chief enabler and facilitator of the whole disgusting travesty.
Good old Ratzi will be in town this month, right here on American soil. This would be a good time for the ever upright and honorable Buchanan to denounce His Holiness and demand that he retire at once – or Pat should quit the Catholic faith himself.
