From the Department Of Oh! That Might Explain Things this, via TPM:
Obama has strong ties to the Daschle world.
Well, great. Just what we need. Let's return the Democratic Party to the great days of 2002.
Why am I never cynical enough?
I thought I was really pushing it when I compared Obama's vacuous Unity
strategery to what Harry and Nancy tried in 2006.
But it turns out I was far, far too kind. Obama's tight with Daschle?!
Daschle, who caved to Bush on Iraq so Democrats wouldn't look weak, and then lost the 2002 midterms, handing complete control over all three branches of government to the Conservative
Movement, because the Democrats looked weak anyhow?!
Harry and Nancy aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer, but Daschle makes them look like a fucking katanas.
This guy's threatening my cranial integrity!

Joe Lieberman, Obama's Senate mentor.
There were concerns back in 2006 that Daschle might run for president:
This just in
John Kerry is endorsing Obama.
oh, perfect.
yah, if you want my vote, the best way to get it is support from arguably the most pathetic Dem candidate EVAR. (gee, and I'll bet Edwards is surprised over this, too--kinda like he was the morning after the 2004 election, when Kerry'd snuck out without so much as a goodbye kiss.)

When Kerry caved on the Ohio vote he was riding the unity pony
No wonder he's endorsing Obama.
Edwards, IIRC, wanted to keep fighting.

I imagine JRE is relieved
Why carry the baggage of that endorsement, especially when Kerry rolled over on the Ohio results?
Let Obama deal with it.
why I like Edwards.
"Edwards, IIRC, wanted to keep fighting."
you are correct, sir.
Second that Puling
Kerry couldn't have been a more apt endorsement. Obama has no plans for defending himself against the massive partisan slime machine coming his way, and neither did Kerry.
Oh, and both, from their message, had been and will be ready to roll over in the name of unity when push comes to shove.
Obama can keep him. I'm hoping that Kennedy endorses Hillary (or at least Edwards).

no, no people, you've got it all wrong. it's a 'gentleman's club,' remember? all past failures are forgotten, all promises to voters ignored, all inconsistencies with the majority view overlooked.
and in the end, it's not like they really care if we like him/them or not- they are well aware of 'what matters' in this supposed contest, and that's chits and favors traded behind closed doors, between players whose power comes not from popularity with the electorate, but with those who provide campaign funds.
no sin is so great it cannot be forgotten in the minds of the villagers. that's probably been true forever, but never more so now.
Uh Lambert? Don't look now...
...but you wanted a link from Bradblog on the BH results? Here ya go:

You might want to read it and click thru the links about LHS Asociates. Then you can come back and post more petty insults.

Obama/Kerry 08
Extend the hand of unity to the GOP to make their lives easier. Smearing is such hardwork, and by running with Kerry, he is meeting them halfway. Half of the dirty smear trickery would be already researched, so they would have more unity time to work with Obama. You know, some bipartisan roundtables with the Swifties.
