Why not experiment with a single payer system in one place?

Say, Puerto Rico.

That seems a lot more scientific than just going with so-called "public plan" (or is it "option"); we'll have comparative results from jurisdictions inside the United States!

So, I'll be waiting for the "public option" ("plan") advocates to start whipping for that.

Aw, Lambert, do you really want to encourage overemigration

seeing as how that island (and similar ones nearby) are already nearly at capacity?
Haiti is noteworthily over capacity, btw.

haiti would be in better shape

if they hadn't cut down all their trees.

i loved living in puerto rico.

No the United States

Fuck your experiments, Fuck NOT INVENTED HERE. There are 30 developed countries that we can copy and still have a better cheaper health care.

Experiment on representatives, senators, government workers, banker and insurance co employees all you want. I want single payer universal and I do not want one single medical person, insurance person or consultant on the choosing board. We simply CANNOT fuck up the health system any worse as long as we kick the hogs away from the trough.
