The Rebel Capitalist twitter feed is a treasure trove of information about worker collectives. The more I think about it, the more I think this is the answer. We need to get rid of our parasitic overlords entirely and worker collectives gives us a work around.

Electoral politics does not offer us any choices. We can vote for emergent party candidates in the hope of building an alternative and having a real choice down the road. But for the immediate future we need to look at alternative structures, and worker collectives is part of the answer. As Warren Mosler keeps telling us, the financial sector is more trouble than its worth.
