You really should read this post of Glenn Greenwald's. It's about the scary world of W's supporters. I've noticed my truly conservative friends no longer talk about politics with me -- except to complain when the administration has stepped across the line. Real conservatives just can't support these guys.
As Glenn makes clear, the folks who still support W don't have any real political principles, they're just blindly loyal to Dear Leader. They're just part of a partisan personality cult.
I never thought I'd see this in America but I certainly have now.
Boy, what are these guys going to be like when Dick Cheney resigns in disgrace in the next few months and this administration collapses into scandal?
