Except she renames it “Take Your Boobs and Go Home” Watch… which works for me as well. I particularly like this quote which summarizes well what lots of us women feel about these repeated calls to withdraw:
“And I don’t know if I can properly explain why that “obvious” conclusion and “undeniable logic” don’t appeal to or persuade us, but here’s the thing: Lots of us are women who have been told “You can’t” for much of our lives, or had seemingly unnavigable barriers put in our way by people who didn’t want us to succeed. Lots of us are women who, had we played by The Rules, wouldn’t have gotten where we are—because The Rules are designed so that we fail. The odds have been against us our whole lives; everything we’ve ever done has been in defiance of the distinct likelihood—and expectation—that we would settle for less than we wanted.”
Anyway, as the cool kids say, go read the whole thing.

Fair enough
The link isn’t working for me. But the excerpt was enough, in this case.
Regardless of how Hillary has conducted her candidacy, I see that the stridency of the calls for her to end it must surely inflame a painful historical nerve for many of her supporters.
In respectfully acknowledging this, I hope that later - when the time comes for it - those supporters will be able to understand how a number of moments in Hillary’s candidacy chafed similar and equally legitimate sensitivies among the African-American community.
“If one candidate is appealing to your fears and the other one is appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope.” - Bill Clinton
Fixed the link
Sorry about that.
I would say
that the ability of Clinton’s supporter’s to “come back” to the fold, after the convention, depends greatly on everyone allowing this to play out. I feel the damage done by pre-emptively ending it, would greatly outweight any potential damage done by letting it continue.
Went to see Clinton today, and she had some very pointed words about it. Too bad I don’t remember what they are.
