Ya Don't Say!

David Plouffe, the campaign manager for Barack Obama’s campaign, said at a campaign manager’s forum here at Harvard University tonight that things might have been a lot different had the disputed Florida primary actually counted in the Democratic race.

“In fact, we might not have been the nominee,” Mr. Plouffe said at a forum sponsored by the Kennedy School of Government.

Huh. Never thought of that.

No comment on MI though, and no comment (or question) about whether or not they would have had the nomination if both FL and MI had been counted when they counted.

Plouffe is right

And, you add in Michigan, and the popular vote tally along with the physcological boost of having the media having to admit that she won both would have made it extremely hard for Obama to have manipulate the DNC like he did. It's really not even a question. You see what Hillary did even while everyone put Florida and Michigan in limbo. Obama would have needed a miracle to force his manipulation of the process through as a "win."

But, we've always been at war with Eastasia...

That's how divisive Hillary is

She tried to destroy the party by being popular with voters who deserved to be disenfranchised.

Yeah, damn Hillary and her divisive ways. She never deserved to win and the shutdown on FL and MI only illustrated how much she shouldn't have won. If she was meant to win, FL and MI would have counted. Come on, people.

Between Axelrod's misstatement and subsequent walk back on Barry's contact with Blagojevich and Plouffe's admission that Barry wouldn't be our nominee had FL counted, I think they're seeing how much they can get away with. Kind of like Bush's reign when you were smacked with one shocking transgression after another wondering the whole time "it couldn't get any worse than this, could it?". The Obama administration-to-be is conditioning us like lab rats to suck down this crap and not say a word.

Lovely.

I love this job!

Speaking of hubris

"we"??? Did he really say "we might not have been the nominee"?
