Your Liberal Media: Libby Edition

So I'd rather eat glass, take a bath in acid, walk across an electrified grid barefoot, etc., than watch CNN. But hey, look what I just learned. Guess who has a dad on the Advisory Board of the Libby Legal Defense Trust? Bowtie Carlson! Has he mentioned that yet, in his coverage of the trial?

Turn it off and cancel your subscriptions, kids. And let them know why. Journalism and TeeVee can't seem to exist together anymore, it's time to stop funding it.

Well, it's an aristocracy

And that's why you get these intense parent-child relationships.

43-41 is only the tip of the cesspool.

Scooter's Body Language

Since CD put the URL to Scooter's slush defense fund up -- the line about Ed Meese being a "distinguished public servant" is just priceless -- I thought I'd go there, and see if I could give him some of the money he needs to badly. (What, no book deal?)

And I found this picture of Our Scooter:

Playing BAG News analyst for a moment:

Is Scooter's body language defensive, or what? Makes one wonder what he has to be defensive about....

NOTE Mel Sembler, the chair of Scooter's slush defense fund, is a real piece of work.

It get's even better!

Richard Carlson is on the Board of Trustees of WETA, the station that produces the NewsHour and Washington Week in Review

in case you ever wondered why Murray Waas is never invited to appear on the Plame case.

As The Dial Turns....

Alice, I can't keep up with the soap opera which is the DC 500--what's the deal vis a vis Carlsons (per ou fils) and Murray Waas? Or anybody else and Waas for that matter--God knows every time I see Waas' stuff cited he's right on the money and way out ahead of the curve time-wise, but he never seems to get no damn respect.

Is he too ugly to get cast in a Geico caveman commercial? Have bad teeth? Why can he not break into the Punditry ranks? Unless he stutters or is otherwise Completely Unsuitable For TeeBee Work I would think KO at very least would have him on.

Yer din't really think The BowTie got...

...his prominent position as 'pundit' 'cause he's good at it did ya!

Nope, like all good lil' RWAs he got it 'cause Daddy is a big shot, has lots of money or is a real good liar, in the 'conservative' movement.

Realize that the ClusterFuck that BushCo. has made of everything they touch is a group endeavor without the scum Carlson, O'Leilly, Hannity and Bloody Kristol and the uncounted legions of 'Brownies' and Bremers Bush and his cabal of vile hyenas would not be able to advance the destruction of our nation a millimeter.

'Course it helps that 'the people' have been asleep or brainwashed.

But that is changing.

Katrina woke folks up.

Iraq is pissing them off.

TV pundits

Because, as Radar magazine pointed out, journalists are rewarded in inverse proportion to the quaility of their work.

at some point we need to stop talking about pundits and start talking about management.
